Thrussingbury 2025

WHAT AN AMAZING DAY!

This year’s Thrussingbury was our sunniest one yet, and possibly the warmest on record!

There was a wonderfully laid back feel as people wandered through the event. It was lovely to see families and friends relaxing together in the sunshine, enjoying delicious food, refreshing drinks, and of course, a jug or two of Pimms! The field was filled with happy faces, laughter, and a truly joyful buzz from start to finish.
A huge thank you to Cass for leading fun dance games for the children, which added to the day’s excitement. There were also glittering face gem decorations to enjoy, making for some very sparkly little festival goers!

Live music filled the air all day long thanks to fantastic performances by Alfie Reynolds, Alex Cavan, George Stackhouse and The Curators. Guests were treated to a mix of modern favourites and timeless classics, and as the evening rolled on, the dancing kicked off, with kids (and quite a few grown-ups!) showing off their moves. The performers really brought the party to life.
The pizza van proved incredibly popular, their wood-fired pizzas were delicious! A big thank you to Fire and Embers for not only their amazing food but also their generous donation.

Unsurprisingly, the bar was a hive of activity all day. We’re hugely grateful to our sponsors and everyone who contributed raffle prizes, this part of the day was a real highlight and helped boost our fundraising total!
We also want to extend heartfelt thanks to our brilliant volunteers. From setting up and serving to helping guests throughout the event, your time and energy made a huge difference.

The Thrussington PTFA is thrilled to share that we’ve raised over £1,400 from this year’s Thrussingbury! Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a special and successful day, we couldn’t have done it without you!
