Our School Hall
Thrussington School Hall
Thrussington CE Primary School are delighted to have been successful in their bid to the Department for Education, Condition Improvement Fund.
This means that the children will now have a school hall, a space they have never had the luxury of and which will replace a 40 year old mobile currently used for collective worship, school assemblies and lunch times.
Thrussington’s new hall will include:
- Space for physical education
- A permanent servery for school lunches which will also be available for children’s cooking opportunities
- A group room for interventions supporting children with their personal, social and emotional development
- And will be a multi use space to enhance the school, support the values and provide the best learning space for the children
Follow Our Progress
For the bid to be successful, the school have been required to make a contribution and Thrussington Primary PTFA have agreed to support this contribution to the value of £15,000.
We are going to achieve this through grant applications, events and sponsorship. We hope to raise this amount by July 2023.
