Thrussingbury 2022 is done and dusted, but certainly not forgotten…
WHAT AN AMAZING DAY!
We had a complete sell-out, the busiest and most attended Thrussingbury to date.
There was a relaxed vibe as you walked around the event. Families and friends coming together to enjoy beautiful weather, good food and a bottle or two of Prosecco. There were lots of smiles and laughter and an amazing atmosphere throughout the day.
The entertainment was provided throughout the day by Blancmange Revival and Mark Elliott. Our guests enjoyed both modern day hits as well as some older classics. As the evening progressed there was lots of dancing from the children and some adults too! The artists truly made it a day to remember!
The BBQ went down a treat. The sausages and burgers were amazing, a massive thank you to Winterton Butchers for supplying the meat and Geary’s Bakery for supplying the rolls and cobs. We’d also like to thank the superstar chefs for preparing and serving the delicious food.
As expected, the bar was busy throughout the day. We’d like to offer a massive thanks to all the volunteers that helped with serving and keeping all of our guests happy! A massive thanks to Charnwood Brewery for supplying us with barrels of beer for the event.
The Thrussington PTFA would like to thank all those who attended in helping to make such a memorable event, as well as helping us to raise money towards the new school hall, we couldn’t have done it without you!
